French native Chloé Perrier, appearing Friday at Edwin Mills by Equator, started playing violin and acting at an early age.
After spending several years studying both crafts, she decided on music and attended the prestigious Bill Evans Piano Academy in Paris where she began composing her first songs. She continued her education through various workshops through 2011.
Now at the top of her game, Perrier performs in a variety of ensemble configurations, and has fronted shows at a wide range of clubs and venues in France and New York.
Her first album, “Coeur de Francaise” (“Heart of a French Girl”) is a collection of French songs and her own jazz compositions. She’s currently touring venues in New York and the LA area. Visit chloeperrier.net.
