Slaters 50/50 in Pasadena is hosting a fundraiser for the Pasadena Senior Center on Wednesday, Aug. 18.
The burger restaurant, which serves patties of 50% beef and 50% bacon, will donate 25% of that day’s and evening’s profits to the center. Guests need to print a flier from the center’s website and hand it to the server. Diners can eat at the restaurant or order takeout.
To download and print the flier, visit pasadenaseniorcenter.org and click on Dine Out & Benefit PSC, then bring it to Slater’s 50/50. Membership at the center and residency in Pasadena are not required.
“The management and staff at Slater’s 50/50 are very generous to donate such a large percentage of that day’s profits to the center,” said Akila Gibbs, the center’s executive director. “Their donation will have a tremendous local impact.”
The restaurant is at 61 N. Raymond Avenue, near the corner of Union Street, in Old Pasadena. The hours on Wednesday, Aug. 18, are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Anyone who cannot dine at Slater’s 50/50 that day or evening can donate by visiting pasadenaseniorcenter.org and clicking on the orange “donate” button.
