Bobby Barron & the Swing Thing Band, joined by special guest Barbara Morrison, take over Brand Library and Art Center in Glendale Friday.

Barron and his band are a popular act around Southern California. The group is known for its retro sound with a modern flash. Barron and company specialize in music from the 1930s to 1960s, with hits from the Great American Song Book. Guests will hear great jazz, swing and blues, plus sounds of the Rat Pack era and Hollywood musicals.

The show also includes Barbara Morrison, hailed as one of the top 50 greatest jazz singers of all time.
