There’s live music played there every weekend, and My Reggae Band has been packing the house for more than a year now.

The band remains true to the sound by playing music of reggae stars and selections from other classic acts. Influences are from such greats as Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Gregory Isaacs, Steel Pulse and others not necessarily known as reggae, including Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix (they do a killer version of Clapton’s “I Shot the Sheriff”).

The band’s top-notch musicianship shines through in performances that keep the place jumping, offering a great way to ease out of the weekend on a lazy Sunday.

Check them out at facebook.com/myreggaeband.

Music starts at 1 p.m. Sunday at King’s Row Gastropub, 20 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena. No cover. Call (626) 793-3010 or visit kingsrowpub.com.
