As it is, ALL the guns around the Lorraine Motel could have been confiscated by the local police, except that King's real assassin still had his weapon securely delivered by agents of the government itself. One thing's for certain, when the war-dogs of WDC are gunning for you, there's no "gun-control" that's going to save your ass.
